NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. INTERNAL TRADE PROMOTION ONLY. NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS.
1) Sponsor: The Virtual Happy Hour Raffle (“Raffle”) is sponsored by IP Counsel Cafe, 93 Fourth Avenue #586, New York, NY 10003. Brands of prizes, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn are not affiliated with or a sponsor of this Promotion.
2) Promotion Period: The Raffle begins on September 14, 2020 and ends on September 18, 2020 (“Promotion Period”).
3) Eligibility: The Raffle is open to registrants of the IP Counsel Cafe Virtual Silicon Valley Meeting in September 2020 who are legal residents of their hometown in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and are In-House Counsel whose registration has been accepted by IP Counsel Cafe ("Participant"). Participants who work for Government agencies are not eligible. This Raffle is an incentive program and does not fall within the course and scope of employment duties for any Participant or any employee. No Participant is required to participate in the Raffle and no Participant will be penalized for non-participation in the Raffle. Participants should obtain their employer’s permission to participate in Raffle. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations and void where prohibited. IP Counsel Cafe and Participant employer’s contractors, consultants, vendors, and employee family members are not eligible.
4) How to Enter & Reward/Giveaway:
i) During the Promotion Period, Participant may register for the IP Counsel Cafe Virtual Silicon Valley Annual Meeting (“Event”) by going to the IP Counsel Cafe website. Participant must attend the Virtual Happy Hours during the Promotion Period. During the Happy Hours, all Participants will be entered into the Raffle and one Participant will be selected to claim a prize. The Participant must be in attendance during the Raffle in order to claim a prize.
ii) After the Event, IP Counsel Cafe will contact the Participant who won the Raffle in order to arrange shipment of prize to the Participant.
No substitution, transfer, or cash redemption of Reward or giveaway is permitted, provided however IP Counsel Cafe reserves the right to substitute the Reward or giveaway with another reward of equal or greater value should the advertised Reward or giveaway become unavailable for any reason. IP Counsel Cafe will collect necessary information from Participant in order to send the Reward or giveaway, and Participant agrees to provide that information to IP Counsel Cafe in order to ship the Reward or giveaway to Participant. Shipping delays may occur. IP Counsel Cafe is not responsible for lost or stolen Reward or giveaway, or additional terms and conditions related to the Reward.
5) General Terms & Conditions: IP Counsel Cafe shall have the right to cancel, suspend, or terminate this Promotion at any time for any reason and without notice, including if in our opinion any fraud, technical failure or other factor beyond our control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion. IP Counsel Cafe reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the process or the operation of the Raffle, to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or to be acting in an unsportsman-like or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Raffle, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. IP Counsel Cafe will have no liability, and will be held harmless from and against liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of an item given for this promotion.
